A big thank you goes to Greater Manchester Fire Service who have very kindly donated 30 single beds (Sorry - no hunky firemen still in them!!!!).
Beds, cookers (sorry-we cannot take gas ones), fridges and washing machines are the items most in need in this area. If you can help us make someone else's life a little easier then please call us on 0161 437 0835

Probably safe to assume they comply with flame retardent rules on furniture then... :-))

Of course, we have checked all the mattresses and beds individually ourselves.

We actually got 46 beds. 12 have been donated to Zambia through a local Church contact and the rest are now sold. Thank you to the fire brigade for their support.
